To experience the freedom they are called to in Christ
“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” (Galatians 5:13)
To know the great and astounding love the Father lavished on them, and for them to be called the children of God

To live in a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not fear

For God to make known His path of life to them and to
be filled with the joy of God’s presence
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11)
That God will infuse them with endurance and encouragement
“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Jesus.” (Romans 15:5)
